Born on March 15, 1975, in Longoria, California, Eva Jacqueline Longoria Bastón[1] is an American actress, producer, director, and businesswoman.
She was acknowledged for her depiction as Isabella Braña on the CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless, where she starred from 2001 to 2003, following a string of guest parts on various television shows.
Her most well-known role was that of Gabrielle Solis on the 2004–2012 ABC television series Desperate Housewives, for which she shared two Screen Actors Guild Awards with the cast and was nominated for a Golden Globe.
In addition, Longoria has starred in films including The Sentinel (2006), Over Her Dead Body (2008), For Greater Glory (2012), Frontera (2014), Lowriders (2016), and Overboard (2018), which went on to win the Imagen Award for Best Actress Film. Her acting career has earned her three ALMA Awards, two People’s Choice Awards, and a Teen Choice Award.
