While browsing the spice aisle, the 25-year-old witnessed a three-meter-long python emerge from the shelves.
Helaina Alati told the BBC, “I turned my head and saw him 20 inches in front of me, staring at me.”
The company is situated in a suburban area with lots of greenery in northwest Sydney, Australia. Coincidentally, the young woman who made the startling discovery is an expert on snakes. She also guessed that it was a diamond python, a large yet deadly snake.
“He gazes directly into my eyes,” the snake remarks.
“He seemed to be pleading with me to take me out as he looked directly into my eyes.” Helaina acknowledged it.
The girl quickly took a video of the snake and reported it to the store employees, who said they could assist her if she went home and got a specific snake bag.
She then made her way back to the store. She would only need to tap the snake on the trail for the python to instantly enter the sack.
