Staying by one other’s side through good times and bad is one of the vows made by two individuals in love on their wedding day. It is invaluable to find someone who embodies these words, and the reality is that not everyone is fortunate enough to have someone so exceptional by their side.
Brad and Liz enjoyed a wonderful life in tandem. Their days were full of joy and laughter since they had three kids.
They unfortunately had an accident one day when Brad lost control of their automobile, which swerved off the road and overturned due to a ruptured tire.
Brad and the children were unharmed, but Liz had a bad back injury that left her paraplegic from the waist down.
Despite her heartbreak, she never allowed her impairment to stop her from fully embracing life. Liz was supported by her children and her devoted husband. But she felt as though some of the activities she used to love doing with her family, like hiking, had been taken away from her.
Brad made it his goal to enable Liz to go on another “hike,” understanding the immense value that being in the mountains with her loved ones held for her.
This devoted and caring husband worked on his wife’s customized wheelchair for three months within the garage. Brad made an all-terrain cart that looked like a tank after failing at first and then trying again.
Liz was ecstatic to see what her husband had been working on when the moment came. She could never have imagined a more lovely surprise than this one.
Brad, a veteran of the war, decided he would build these instruments for the injured soldiers on the front lines after noticing the happiness in her eyes.
What a lovely tale of devotion and love. Please SHARE this on Facebook with your relatives and friends if you like it as much as we did.
