The final performance of the tour, which was scheduled to conclude in Miami, started a little early in an attempt to beat the impending poor weather, but halfway through, it was decided that she would have to cancel due to the rain and lightning.
Even though she managed to perform many of her classics, such as “Telephone,” “Born This Way,” and “Shallow,” a hurriedly scheduled interlude transpired to be a cry for the audience to disperse and find safety.
“When I wrote the lyrics — when I said, ‘I’d rather be dry, but at least I’m alive’ — it’s because I care about life now in a way that I didn’t for a long time,” she remarked, referring to her “Chromatica” album smash “Rain on Me,” as reported by The Miami Times.

After then, disappointed spectators began to leave Hard Rock Stadium. Many found it devastating, especially because the tour had been delayed for two whole years because of COVID-19 fears.
In the video, she says, “I’ve always wanted to be, like, that hardcore bad bitch, but what I really want is to also be responsible and loving, and I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to anybody in the audience, or any member of my crew, my band, my dancers.”
Clutching a bouquet of plastic flowers she said a fan threw at her after the cancellation, she apologized that “we didn’t get to do the epic performance of ‘Rain on Me’ in the rain.” She also promised to “cherish them forever.”
“I am healthy, and it’s a healthy decision for all of you and for myself as well,” she said.
