An American woman who wanted to work at a nightclub began looking for an inexpensive plastic surgeon to give her a more curvaceous shape.
According to Florida authorities, what she discovered was a lady dressing up as a doctor who had stuffed her buttocks with mineral oil, cement, and flat tire sealant.
Investigators believe the suspect, who was born a guy but identifies as a woman, may have victimized others. The suspect reportedly carried out the procedure on herself.
After going missing for a year, Oneal Ron Morris, 30, was apprehended on Friday and faces charges of practicing medicine without a license and causing serious bodily harm.
Morris appears to be a small-framed woman with a big posterior, arching eyebrows, bee-stung lips, and huge hoop earrings in police images. She was given a bond and let out of jail.
Due to medical privacy rules, the victim, who is not to be named, paid $US700 ($702) for several injections in May 2010. Morris was recommended to her by a friend.
Morris pumped a poisonous mixture into her lower abdomen by injecting a tube into multiple locations. According to authorities, Morris comforted the victim when the suffering got too great.
Morris reportedly remarked to the woman, “Oh don’t worry, you’ll be fine,” according to Miami Gardens Police Sergeant Bill Bamford. We simply keep giving you injections, and everything gets resolved on its own.”
The victim, according to Bamford, was hesitant to come forward. She visited two hospitals right away since she was experiencing flu-like symptoms along with excruciating abdominal discomfort and infected buttock sores. Nevertheless, she fled each time, too ashamed to disclose her actions to the doctors.
After a while, her mother brought her to another hospital, where startled medical staff questioned her. The Department of Health was notified.
“The doctors knew no licenced physician in his right mind would ever do this,” Bamford stated.
The patient claims it hurts too much to work and is still recovering from surgery. She has also accrued a large medical debt.
Authorities think there might be more victims out there who are too ashamed to come forward.Authorities think there might be more victims out there who are too ashamed to come forward.
