Selena Gomez, 31, never skips a birthday celebration for a friend! The pop star celebrated Francia Raisa’s 35th birthday on July 26 by posting a carousel of images of the Grown-ish alum on her Instagram account. I wish this amazing human being [sic] the happiest of birthdays. I’ll always adore you, no matter where life leads us. Selena captioned the touching picture with “@franciaraisa,” adding a red heart emoji.
Three old images of the lifelong buddies were posted. The brunette beauty and Francia were shown in the first slide sharing a champagne glass in a convertible as they looked into each other’s eyes. On the second slide, Selena hugged the How I Met Your Father actor from behind, making the birthday homage extra sweeter. The final slide showed a picture of the two women hugging each other while getting ready for an event years earlier.
Several of the 31-year-426 old’s million followers responded on social media shortly after she shared the birthday greeting with them. You guys may say what you want, but Francia has always received nothing except kindness and appreciation from Selena Gomez. That’s the truth, and Selena never ever made Francia feel the way Francia feels toward Selena, a fan tweeted. What a change of events, note how Selena was never the resentful one, a different admirer chimed in.

As many people are aware, the two supposedly got into a fight when Selena neglected to mention Francia’s name in an interview with Rolling Stone in November 2022. Taylor Swift was the singer’s “sole buddy in the industry,” as she memorably remarked in the song “Wolves.” Shortly after the interview was posted, Francia commented on the article and referred to her friend’s assertion as “interesting,” according to InStyle.
Despite this, Selena recently discussed her pal when making an appearance on the Mar. 10 episode of the Apple TV+ program Dear… The singer of “Lose You To Love Me” commended Francia for helping her out by giving her kidney back in 2017. “That was one of those times when I felt like someone was watching me. I know I was so, so, so fortunate at the time, she said. I don’t take it lightly that it occurred to me since I realize that it doesn’t happen to a lot of others and that some of those circumstances can have significant consequences.
The singer said, “I will never ever, ever owe anyone more than Francia.” The star of Only Murders in the Building even referred to Francia as her “best buddy.” Francia has been reposting birthday tributes from her pals, but as of the time of publishing, she has not done so for Selena’s message.
