Ultimately we like looking over these posts because of how entertaining they can be, and it can help you understand different situations and broaden your perspective. With this all being said, we are diving into a post today that was submitted by a person who was asked to adopt a cat from their friend, but they told them no, and then later got another cat with their mom.
The friend is upset that OP got the cat with their mom instead of adopting the cat that their friend had. However, the circumstances make this situation a little different because they rescued the cat with their mom, and this is the major differing factor.
If you’re interested in hearing more about what happened and what people had to say in the comments about this situation, then keep on reading. Whether you have an opinion on this, have been through something similar, or are just here for the tea, you’re going to enjoy this.
OP explains the situation that happened with the friend and them she also explained the situation that is happening with her mom finding a kitten that was in bad shape.

Then people came to the comments and let her know that she’s not wrong and that her actions make perfect sense.

People were on OP’s side and it was definitely something that many peopel agreed with. Plus, her decisions aren’t personal to the friend but rather to her.

Then people started sharing their own stories of helping out animals and how they would have responded in this situation.

Comments came in that were a little bit confused and they felt like they weren’t getting told the full story, but OP actually responded to let us know more of the situation.

OP also gave some insight into her situation more so we could get an idea of whose cat this was and what is going to happen with it long term.

OP was responding to a lot of different comments on their post to help clarify some things. Overall, people voted the same way though.

This seems to be a problem that other people have experienced as well which makes it even more ridiculous and the friend should fix his cat.

This person had some different perspectives and explained to her that maybe having two kittens would help.

People seemed to think that having multiple kittens might be a good option but we don’t necessarily know if OP was willing to have two kittens.

In this circumstance, OP appears to be NTA, and we must unquestionably concur with them. In all actuality, she is free to act however she pleases and adopt any cat she chooses.
The specifics also make more sense to her. The buddy only needs to mend the cat to prevent them from having to go through this again.
