OP shared that they were driving home from work when a portable cat carrier blew into the road. They got out of their car and picked up the cat.
After waiting for a while and not seeing anyone, OP determined that the cat had been abandoned and was about to put it in their car when a woman walked up to them.
The woman yelled at OP and claimed that it was inappropriate for them to try to take the cat, despite OP’s explanation that they were only trying to save the cat’s life. Before leaving the scene, OP also accused the woman of leaving the cat in a position to be killed.
