The little animal was extremely close to a busy road, and it was only a matter of time before a car ran him over and killed him. As soon as possible, he needed to be rescued.
When the puppy reached a dead end on the steps of a nearby building, Prue cautiously continued after him. She knew from experience that the best way to keep the puppy from trying to bolt suddenly was to get it used to her being around. Prue coaxed the puppy to trust her by talking to it and offering it tasty treats.
After a long while, the savvy rescuer held out her hand, and the puppy ate from her palm. After that, their relationship took a dramatic turn for the better when she pet the dog softly.
After quickly deciding now was the time to act, she carefully wrapped the puppy in a towel. In a word, it was incredible! Prue had pulled the puppy out of a dangerous situation by the side of the road. The next morning, when she brought the puppy to the rescue center, he was a completely different dog.
