When someone chose to toss a cardboard box containing an emaciated Pitbull puppy in the middle of a deserted parking lot, they had no idea they were being watched. Yet Shannon observed the incident firsthand. Not only had they cruelly abandoned a little puppy, but the pit bull was also starving and in pain.
But fortunately for the adorable Pitbull puppy, he was noticed by a dog mom of three who adores animals.
In the footage, a pickup vehicle can be seen pulling up and parking. Suddenly, a guy leaps out and grabs something from the truck’s bed. It is a cardboard box, which he abandons in the empty parking lot.
Shannon had no choice but to investigate what was within. As she opened the box, she was surprised to see a little Pitbull puppy in terrible condition. He was so ill that it was obvious he need immediate medical treatment. The poor puppy was so malnourished that you could see each of his ribs, and he was shedding massive amounts of fur.
“He was in such a terrible state. “But, he was still suffering and clinging to life,” Shannon added.
She rushed him to the veterinarian and then transported him back to her home, where she began restoring his health. On his first two days at home, he was pretty terrified, but he ate, which was vital. It was a really encouraging sign that he was willing to eat.
Throughout his first several days, he did nothing except feed, urinate, and sleep. His action was obviously a desperate attempt to support his tiny body in its recovery. Once he began to feel better, it became clear that he was such a wonderful little boy.
After one week, he permitted Shannon and her boys to cuddle with him. Then, about age three, his personality began to emerge. They could see that he was now feeling secure and content.
As time passed, all of his silky, beautiful fur came back. In addition, he began to interact with her other dogs. The puppy was extremely fortunate to not only survive, but also find a loving permanent home.
