I save dogs, and I’ve seen way too many like this. This dog looks scared and is clinging to this man like he’s a lifeline, which he might be if he’s looking for a place to stay.
No matter how nice a shelter is, it’s a hell hole for dogs because they don’t know why they’re there or what will happen to them. It’s almost like being thrown into a room where no one speaks your language and you can only cry and worry.
