Agea Santos promises his furry friend Alvin, who had a stroke and can’t stand up like he used to, that he will always be there for him.
Agea Santos said, “I will take care of you until the end, my furry son.” He will always be there for Alvin, his furry friend who had a stroke and can’t stand up like he used to.
As with the responsibility of raising a child, caring for a pet is a tremendous one because the animal is a living being that will require constant care and attention. So, if you have a furry friend at home, you need to know that there will be good times and bad times, but the most important thing is to always be there for him.
Skilled pet owners will do everything they can to make sure their pet still enjoys life even when his body doesn’t work the way it used to. Agea Santos of Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, does this when her puppy has a stroke and she is worried about going on with her normal life.
Alvin, one of his dogs, liked to run around in the rain and play in the water. Even though he can’t walk and has trouble standing, Santos picks him up and holds him in his arms so the animal can still feel the water flow over him.
This can be seen in a video he posted on Instagram. In the video, the dog falls down while walking, but his owner is right there to pick him up and let him feel the rain.
“He loved running in the rain and staying in the water when he was younger, and he still does. After everything that had happened, she wanted to remember a happy time. My furry kid, I will take care of you until the end.´´ In the post, Santos said, “I want to thank my wife Ray for taking such great care of him.”
In another video, the puppy left a message for all pet owners while he could still play in the rain. “Enjoy your hairy baby before he gets old or sick, because he will grow out of it so fast. This video is from two years ago. He’s old now and can’t walk well because he had a stroke.” he said.
“The stroke took away his ability to move and see on his left side, so he is slowly learning how to walk again. He was getting physiotherapy from one professional and acupuncture from another.” Santos said. “It really helped him get better, so he’ll be back soon.”
