There is always great interest hearing about odd animal friendships. The doginspiration writes: ,,We wonder if animals get along together only to get along when a lot of different types of animal lives together.’’ A touching tale tells about a group of orphaned puppies that found a companion and protector. Andrea is a member of a foster home and of 2nd Chances Rescue. She found three abandoned puppies in the PetSmart parking a few years ago. Andrea decided to take care of them. Andrea reported PAWsitive: ,,A man showed up with a case of beer with these three puppies. He claimed he caught her in her garden but was unable to capture her mother.’’

Andrea decided to take the cubs and raise them. Although they need time to adjust to their new surroundings. Andrea said they were really scared. The other rescue pet was the eighty years old sulfate turtle. The turtles name is Goliath. Andrea recognized that the rescue dogs and the turtle had a connection together. One day Andrea noticed that a puppy was gone wich seemed strange in first place. She got terrified. Thankfully Andrea rapidly found the puppy. The puppy was hiding in Goliath’s stable. As time passed Andrea noticed that the puppies appreciate it to cuddle with their turtle pal. It seemed to provide a sense of security to the horrified puppies.

Andrea noticed that the puppies feel a sort of security near Goliath. They also cuddle together during the day.

Andrea accords that Goliath enjoys attention and contact. However most dogs are afraid and ignore the turtle. Obviously the puppies had a different mindset. The Tortoise appeared relieved to have company. ,,Goliath gets really excited” according to Andrea. She adds: ,,I think he loves it.”
