This incredible rescue cat has taught herself to talk (And its amazing!)

Im sure you’ve probably read many stories where cat owners have described strange and unique behaviours from their feline friends. This story is no different, she has a very unique set of skills that have made Clancy an online superstar.
When she arrived at the shelter, Clancy was about 7 years old, and experts say that she appeared to have spent most of that time on the street. It was predicted that Clancy had probably never had a home, as she lacked the social skills you would expect from a cat her age.

As you would expect, the hard street life resulted in numerous wounds and battle scars and although she was in a pretty shabby condition at the shelter, it was clear that despite all these war wounds she is a real fighter.
According to the staff, despite seeming to lack social skills, Clancy was incredibly kind-hearted and gladly accepted the offered help. They gave her food and water and a warm bed and they couldn’t believe that within a few days Clancy started to ‘Talk’ to them.
Over the coming weeks, whenever somebody would approach Clancy she would speak to them, in a low and scratchy voice. She quickly became a favourite in the shelter as she melted the hearts of all the staff.
Her “conversations” were filmed and posted on the shelter’s page, which immediately created a stir among users. Clancy went viral and the shelter started to receive a flood of donations from animal lovers who fell in love with her. She was so well loved that she was able to raise enough money to spoil all of the other animals (Amazing, right?)

Needless to say, she didn’t last long at the shelter. When Sandy arrived to rescue a pet for her family she was ‘chosen’ by Clancy herself, who immediately began purring and telling her stories. She was so intrigued that she adopted Clancy that very day!
Shelter staff joke that Clancy “persuaded” the woman to take her.
